ATF Offers Up to $10K Reward for Portland Area Pregnancy Clinic Attacks
SEATTLE — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced an up to $10,000 reward today for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for attacks at the Oregon Right to Life center in Keizer on May 8, 2022; Pregnancy Resource Center in Gresham on June 11, 2022; and the Mother and Child Education Center in Portland on June 25, 2022, and in early July.
No injuries were reported in any of the attacks and damage varied at the centers.
ATF and FBI are investigating all three attacks. Keizer Police Department is assisting the investigation into the Oregon Right to Life attack, Gresham Police Department and Gresham Fire Department are assisting the investigation into the Pregnancy Resource Center attack, and Portland Police Bureau and Portland Fire and Rescue are assisting in the investigation into the Mother and Child Education Center attack.
“We cannot allow those who manifest their personally-held beliefs into acts of violence to remain on the streets, possibly to commit more crimes,” said ATF Seattle Field Division Special Agent in Charge Jonathan T. McPherson. “Thankfully there were no injuries in these attacks, but they were acts of violence nonetheless, and we need those responsible to face legal consequences for their actions.”
