CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the National Shooting Sports Foundations, the trade association for the firearms industry, have announced a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a violent daytime robbery in Durham. ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000, which will be matched by the NSSF for a total of up to $10,000.
On June 24, three armed suspects entered Affordable Jewelry and Pawn and ordered employees to the ground. The owner was forced at gunpoint to remove a large amount of cash from a safe while suspects took firearms and jewelry from the business. The suspects wore black hoodies, black face masks, and blue latex gloves. The suspects left the scene in an older model, gold Toyota Camry with no license plate.
Anyone with information about this crime should contact ATF at 1-800-ATF-TIPS (800-283-8477). Tips can also be submitted through email at ATFTips@atf.gov or through the ReportIt ® app. All calls and tips will be kept confidential.
