ATF, Urbandale Police Offer Reward in Gun Store Burglary
Urbandale, IA — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Urbandale Police Department, today announced a reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the Feb. 13 theft of firearms from a federally licensed firearms dealer in Urbandale.
At approximately 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, unknown suspects broke into JLM Shooters Supply in the 6900 block of Douglas Avenue, stealing several firearms from the premises. Officers from the Urbandale Police Department discovered that entry had been made through the front door and window of the business. Detectives from Urbandale Police Department and agents from the Des Moines ATF office are investigating.
ATF and Urbandale Police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
