ATF, Firearms Industry Offer Up to $5,000 Reward for Information about Firearms Stolen in Chesapeake, VA

ATF, Chesapeake PD searching for multiple suspects

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Washington Field Division and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry, have announced a combined reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible, or the recovery of firearms from the theft of firearms from a federal firearms licensee the 3300 block of South Military Highway in Chesapeake.

On April 18, 2020, at approximately 2:57 a.m. Chesapeake Police responded to a commercial alarm activation at Chesapeake Pawn and Gun. When police arrived on scene, they found evidence of forced entry into the business. No suspects were located at the scene. Upon further investigation, it was determined several firearms were stolen.
