ATF Boston Field Division Offer Up to $5,000 Reward for Information About a Suspected Arson at St. Marys Catholic Church in Franklin, MA
BOSTON – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Boston Field Division Special Agent in Charge James M. Ferguson announced Friday October 25, 2024, that a reward of $5,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who set fire to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Franklin, Massachusetts.
At approximately 5:45 p.m. on October 23, 2024, the Franklin Fire Department responded to a fire at St. Mary's Catholic Church, located at 1 Church Square. Upon arrival firefighters found and quickly extinguished the blaze.
Investigators from the Franklin Police Department, Franklin Fire Department, State Police assigned to the Massachusetts State Fire Marshals Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms have determined that the fire was intentionally set.
